I just hit up the new Evolution Gym in Sterling owned by GCA co-founder Scott Howard and fighter Sam Yousefi and wanted to update everyone on the progress.  According the them, Yousefi is working non-stop to get the huge gym ready for business during the day while Howard is doing it at night.  It looks like they are nearing the end, so hopefully we will be getting an "Open for Business" announcement soon. You can tell already by the way they working on it and talking about it, this is going to be a no b.s. gym.
  The facility looks great so far and will be complete with ring, weight lifting area, cardio floor, walls adorned with every type of heavy bag you ever could imagine, and a full jiu-jitsu area.  On top of that, there will be men and women changing rooms, offices, and of course men and women’s bathrooms.
  Evolution also looks like they will have a great stable of professionals to help members reach their fitness and/or fighting goals.  Besides having well-seasoned instructors in Muay Thai boxing, jiu-jitsu, and yoga, Evolution will also feature personal trainers and strength and conditioning coaches.  Finally, I was impressed with the fee to train there.  I dont want to put any numbers out there, but I would say it easily competes with other gyms in the area.  This will be a facility that fits just about everyone.
